SMSD-4.2Modbus can be controlled from a PLC using the Modbus RTU/ASCII protocol or operate autonomously based on user-defined programs. This controller offers microstepping options ranging from 1/1 to 1/256, and it includes a morphing function that enables a seamless transition from microstepping mode to full-step mode at a specified speed, ensuring torque is maintained at high speeds. Overheating protection is also integrated. These controllers can operate in real-time and are suitable for constructing both local automation units and distributed I/O systems, facilitating data exchange through the RS-485 interface with the Modbus protocol.
