This device can be managed from a PLC using the Modbus RTU/ASCII protocol or function independently according to a user-defined program. The controller offers microstepping capabilities from 1/1 to 1/256, and it includes a morphing function that enables a seamless transition from microstepping mode to full-step mode at a specified speed, maintaining torque even at high speeds. It also incorporates overheating protection. These controllers can operate in real-time and can be applied to create both local automation units and distributed I/O systems, facilitating data exchange via the RS-485 interface with the Modbus protocol.
