The BMSD-40Modbus is a programmable controller designed for DC brush motors. This unit can be controlled via RS 485 Modbus ASCII or RTU interfaces. It offers both speed and position control, particularly for motors equipped with encoders. The controller is responsible for regulating motor speed, setting the direction of rotation, enabling precise positioning, and stabilizing speed when used with motors equipped with Hall sensors. Additionally, it manages acceleration and deceleration. The controller features programmable digital inputs and includes a current limitation function to protect the motor from overloads.
The unit can be controlled via the RS-485 communication interface using the Modbus RTU or ASCII protocol or through external signals applied to the controller inputs.
